Chicago Tribune on New West’s Beginnings in the Windy City
The Chicago Tribune recently published a piece (”Restoring Hope in Old Enclaves”) on New West Realty. The article discussed CEO Ted Mazola’s obligation to Chicago’s neighborhoods.
From the Tribune:
The company’s name connotes the partners’ foresight for Chicago’s West Side, which was a different place when New West began.
“The neighborhood looked Third World. The generator was stolen during the groundbreaking. The Realtors’ listings just called the area “other.” Then, we put in affordable housing and people told us, ‘This is what the neighborhood needed,’ ” says Mazola.
Eastgate Village (pictured above) and 1555 Wabash are discussed in the Chicago Tribune article, which you can read in its entirety by clicking here. The communities’ attention to value (and not simply square footage) is something new home buyers are looking for in today’s market.
New West Realty’s townhomes and condominiums are located in the heart of Chicago and are a beautiful, comfortable solution for those looking to purchase a home. For more information or to schedule an appointment, click here to get started!
