- Chicago is home to the world’s largest free outdoor food festival. You know it as “The Taste of Chicago.”
- Chicago’s Western Avenue is the world’s longest street (23.5 miles!).

- Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo is the world’s largest free public zoo, located at 2200 N. Cannon Dr.
- In 1884 Chicago produced the first roller skates and in 1930, the first Hostess Twinkie.
- Chicago was the birthplace of celebs such as Harrison Ford, John Cusack, Jim Belushi, Huge Hefner, Bernie Mac, Bill Murray, Frank Caliendo, Raquel Welch, R Kelly, and Michael Clarke Duncan.
- Chicago was the birthplace of stand out sports figures such as Dwyane Wade, Donovan McNabb, Tim Hardaway, Mike Krzyzewski (better known as Coach K), Isiah Thomas, Chris Chelios, and Dick Butkus.
