CNNMoney.com wisely choose Chicago’s South Loop recently as one of the best places to retire in the entire United States. Pros to the decision included plenty of housing options and quiet and less crowded neighborhoods than some of the areas to the north.
Certainly, 1555 Wabash is one place active adults seeking a taste of downtown Chicago should consider. And for thoe seeking a slightly slower pace of life, the newly rejuvenated area offers fantastic restaurants to enjoy with friends, plenty of unique shopping options and access to Chicago’s museums, the Lakefront and other cultural options.
With easy access to mass transit such as Chicago’s excellent bus system or the train, in 15 minutes you’ll be shopping on Michigan Avenue, in your seats for a play at the theater district or enjoying the culture and energy of Navy Pier.
